Lee C. Bollinger has been president of Columbia University since 2002 and is also a professor of law. From 1996 to 2002, Bollinger was president of the University of Michigan, where he was also a professor of law. Bollinger is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the American Philosophical Society. He has published a number of legal and constitutional books.
