Bjørn Berge is the Council of Europe’s Deputy Secretary General since 2021, having previously worked as the Director General and Secretary to the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. Earlier, Mr. Berge has worked at the Norwegian Foreign Service, served as the International Adviser to the Prime Minister of Norway and as a speechwriter for three Norwegian Foreign Ministers
