Mouhamadou Touré, 30 years old, is a Malian journalist, Editor in Chief of Studio Tamani, a daily news program created in 2013 by Fondation Hirondelle and URTEL (the national union of independent radio and tv stations in Mali). Studio Tamani’s news and dialogue program is broadcasted every day by a network of 85 radio stations across the country, as well as 3 TV stations and on social networks. Recent audience surveys showed that more than 3 Million people regularly listen to Studio Tamani. With its newsroom of 30 journalists in Bamako, and ist network of 50 correspondents across the country, it’s the reference news programme in Mali today, in a challenging context for independent media.
